I haven't been lurking lol, had a quick read of your thread on the forum and noticed the website then joined up.

I see, there's quite a few I.P's that keep coming and going but haven't signed up.

I see you are from Leicester and i take it your in the Leicester division of the EDL. Are you coming to the East Midlands regional meet tomorrow with the Leicester lot?

I'm not mate, I'm not actually in the Division as such, just an armchair warrior until the Leiester demo comes round, that way I can go with my mates and get a feel for it without having to travel across the country with people I harldy know.

I know what you mean, but you get to know people really quickly everybody in the Leicester division are sound, if you change your mind just let me know and i'll have a word with the organiser for you, unless you want to pop over the East Midlands regional meet in Leicester, i'll get you a pint and just see how it goes mate.

Manchester was my first demo, been to every demo since other than Leeds. I used to be the Derby division organiser but gradually we created the East Midlands division and managed to more than triple our numbers, now we have regular coaches to demo's, you must have seen our big black banner with the red cross & it says English Defence League, East Midlands, Derby, Nottingham Leicester' it comes everywhere with us.

I've not actually seen it, what do you do at regional meets? I've got just about every invite from Leicestee EDL asking about it but I've never asked what they do.

Regional meets are to obviously welcome new members and get to know them a bit before travelling with them etc, also we discuss travel and collect money for coaches, let everybody know where and what time pick-up points for the coach will be and where and what date the next meet will be, discuss pre-demo pubs/meeting points and just a general chat & a few drinks. They are laid back.
